 Trade marks / Sanef telematique

 |
"Sanef télématique" foresees developments in road toll payment and is seen as a European operator of high added-value services : it can offer innovative solutions in telematic services. |

Sanef was a pioneer of remote toll payment in France, and now leads the field in terms of market share with 258,000 badges in use (as at 30.11.2004).
The Liber-t badge, with Sanef's subscription offers, can optimise and facilitate customer's journeys :
 |
reserved toll payment lanes along the 7800 kilometres of the French concessionary motorway network ;
no waiting at the toll booths ;
subscription charges invoiced annually or monthly as required, only in the months when the badge is used ;
a detailed monthly invoice with a list of journeys made ;
a dedicated customer area on the website www.sanef.com.
|
The Liber-t badge also provides original solutions for regional companies and communities :
Liber-t Offres Entreprises : Systems adapted to the size of a company's fleet.
Liber-t 67, Pass Amiens, home/work subscriptions : Customised offers funded in partnership with regional authorities.

In order to accommodate technological change and the economic aspects of motorway tolls, Sanef has reviewed its Toll Collection Master Plan for the period 2004-2008.
The review was governed by three objectives :
To maintain Sanef's position by offering facilities that are carefully chosen from the economic and technical standpoints ;
To prepare the way for Sanef to become a major player in the area of electronic toll collection for trucks ;
To position Sanef as an attractive and competitive partner on French and European development projects.

Sanef's ability to innovate has enabled it to deploy complex international solutions in countries such as Hungary (motorways M1, M15 and M3), Poland (motorways A2 and A4) and also China (the northern Canton ring road, the Canton-Shengzen motorway).

Developing electronic toll collection for trucks ;
Mastering satellite/mobile telephone technologies
|
To maintain its competitive advantage and respond to the issues of road toll interoperability in Europe, Sanef needed to acquire technological skills in two areas : GPS/GSM-GPRS and DSRC.
For this reason Sanef acquired the masternaut company, a commercial and technological leader which is meeting the needs of a number of companies for managing the vehicle fleets mobility.
With masternaut, Sanef is offering new bundles of services based upon the technologies of satellite location and high-speed mobile telephony : traffic information, journey mobility aids, safety and assistance services.
