The Group is actively involved in the Centaure network, founded in 1984 by Groupama in partnership with the motorway companies, which teaches people how to drive in difficult road conditions. The concept arose when it was realised that the driver's behaviour is the most often the key factor in an accident, despite the quality and safety of the roads. Centaure trains professional drivers to cope with the unexpected, particularly when driving on slippery or icy road surfaces.
Sanef holds 34% of the capital of Centaure-Nord-Pas-de-Calais which operates the Hénin-Beaumont (Pas-de-Calais) Centaure.
The Group, via SAPN, holds 49.9% of the capital of Centaure Paris-Normandie which operates the Bourg-Achard (Eure) Centaure. |
